Which Dokha Should I Buy?

Which Dokha should I buy is a question that a lot of customers ask, especially if they are new to the experience.

If you’re looking for an alternative to smoking cigarettes, or other forms of tobacco, Dokha should be of interest to you. Unlike most Western tobaccos, Dokha is a pure, organically grown tender leaf Arabic tobacco sewn at high altitude. It is not fire cured and cut, but dried in the arid desert regions, primarily of the UAE. It’s finely ground in a timely manner to preserve the strength, freshness, flavour and natural colouration of the tobacco leaves. The different strengths of Dokha are classified as Light (Blue), Medium (Gold) or HOT (Red)- and there are different blends that fall into each of these categories. We also sell blends that are mixed so you can have a light/medium blend or you can have a medium/hot and so on. There is bound to be a blend which ticks a box for most of our customers.

One of the reasons why Enjoy Dokha chose to get into the whole ‘Dokha smoking thing’ was simply because this tender leaf Arabic tobacco has nothing added and nothing taken away – simple! Now, we don’t advocate that smoking any type of tobacco is good for you; it is still tobacco – rather, Enjoy Dokha aim to help people choose a tobacco that delivers a more exclusive and enjoyable smoking experience without any additives.

Below, we have created what we call a ‘Buzz Chart’ that will give you an indication of the strength of each blend. We recommend if you are a beginner to smoking Dokha that you only choose from the Light Blends (Blue) and then graduate to a more robust blend such as ED Gold (Medium), as smoking Dokha is a whole different smoking experience to smoking any other form of tobacco.

If on the other hand, you are a seasoned Dokha smoker, you will probably be looking for an over warm Medium or Hot blend. Medium blends tend to be quite smooth on inhale and give the user a satisfying buzz on exhale. Hot blends tend to be quite hot on the inhale, however, offer an intense feeling on exhale. The buzz you experience normally only lasts a few seconds depending on your tolerance and whether you are a regular smoker or not.

So go ahead – check out every single Light blend (Blue) BEFORE moving on and trying a Medium blend (Gold) or Hot blend (Red) – with so much choice, that should keep you in the Dokha Family for years!
